Accommodation during Wasa Footballcup
During Wasa Footballcup, we offer several comfortable and affordable accommodation options for all teams. Most teams stay in schools around Vaasa. All schools and dormitories are monitored 24/7 and equipped with automatic fire alarms for maximum safety.
School accommodation
Teams stay together in classrooms, with space for about 18–20 people per room. School accommodation is only for players and team staff. Participants are responsible for bringing their own sleeping bag and mat. Mats should be no wider than 80 cm, and all participants are asked to remove football boots before entering. To ensure a good night’s sleep for everyone, quiet hours start at 23:00 each evening.
Dormitory accommodation
As an alternative to school accommodation, dormitories with proper beds are also available. Please bring your own bedding. Other rules are the same as for school accommodation.
Costs
For all participants staying in school accommodation, the fee is 125 € per person, while dormitory accommodation costs 185 € per person . The fee includes the participation fee, accommodation from Thursday evening to Sunday (3–6 July 2026), as well as all meals and benefits during the cup.
Check-in
All teams should check in before their first game, whether they have booked accommodation or not. Upon arrival in Vaasa, the team should first go to the cup office at Vamia, Ruutikellarintie 2. Only one team leader or coach needs to check in the team. T o ensure a smooth check-in, all fees should be paid and the player list completed beforehand. At check-in, teams receive an information pack and wristbands. The cup office is open 15:00–22:00 on Thursday .
If you arrive later, you can go directly to the school, but please inform the accommodation managers in advance. For a smooth start to the cup weekend, we recommend that the entire team arrives at the school together. The cup office opens at 07:00 on Friday , and check-in is also possible before the first match.
Check-out
Before checking out on Sunday, classrooms should be cleaned. We ask teams to book a final inspection with school supervisors already on Saturday. Schools and dormitories close at 14:00 on Sunday. After that, shower facilities will be available elsewhere.
