Do coaches and team leaders also need to pay the participation fee?
No, not if it’s only about the participation fee (30 €). However, if the team books meals or accommodation, coaches and team leaders must also book and pay for those.

We’ve paid the registration fee, but it doesn’t show up on our account. Is something wrong?
Most likely not. We manually register all payments in our system about once a week, so it can take up to a week before your payment appears on your account.

When do the fees need to be paid?
The registration fee must be paid within one week of registration, and participation fees must be paid by June 5, 2026.

I paid too much. How can I get a refund?
Send an email to wfc@wasafootballcup.com with a short explanation of why a refund is needed and your account number. Refunds are processed after the tournament has ended.

Can I register as a referee?
Yes! Wasa Footballcup also aims to be a place for young and new referees. Vasa Referee Club mentors all match officials and referees during the tournament.

Are there international teams in the tournament?
Yes, every year teams from across the Nordics, the Baltics, and Europe participate.

Does the player list sync with fees during registration?
No, the player list in the registration system does not sync with fees.

How many games does each team play? Do all age groups play all three days?
Every team plays at least five games. All teams play on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

What prizes are awarded during the tournament?
In the B/G 7–9 age groups, all players receive a medal. Medals are collected from the tournament office when the team registers. In the B/G 10–15 age groups, gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded, and each team also receives a trophy. Prizes are presented by Wasa Footballcup staff immediately after the team’s last match.

How quickly are match results updated in the WFC app?
The results service enters match results into the system as soon as we receive them. Results also appear immediately in the app.

Can parents attend the disco?
Yes, of course!

Do coaches and team leaders get free coffee during the cup?
Yes! Coaches and team leaders receive free coffee in the Leaders Lounge at the MTV area and at the tournament office in Vamia.
